Gärdsholmen

Gärdsholmen is an island of about 5000 in the archipelago outside Västervik. It is situated in a long narrow fjord-like bay of the Baltic Sea in an area that invites both experienced anglers and families to rich and varying fishing. We have three winter insulated cottages, 47 m2, with a wonderful view over the bay Syrsan. Already 5000 years ago Gärdsholmen was used by man for hunting and fishing which is proved by artefacts of ceramics that was found when the cottages were built. Here you can stay, like man has done for thousands of years, with the sea as your closest neighbour.
